Our Farm - Since 2021
We’re just a couple of homesteader wannabes…
Oh where to begin…
Light Hill Farm was started in 2021 when our family was fortunate enough to move to this beautiful property. We love to know where our food comes from and have been trying for the better part of the last 15 years to source our meals as locally as possible. What better way to do that than raise it ourselves??
We started light with laying hens. Then, influenced by Polyface Farm and Joel Salatin’s rotational grazing models, we dabbled in pastured broiler chickens, grass fed beef and pastured pork. We even gobbled up a couple of turkeys (see what I did there??) and loved every minute of it.
Since 2021 we’ve been finishing beef cattle at Light Hill Farm and are excited to be opening up shares to the general public. Please fill out the form below to inquire about joining our beef co-op.
